Qualifications

• Meets the staffing qualifications according to the Regulations and Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021
• Enrollment or completion of a Food Service Worker (FSW) Certificate is preferred
• Current Food Handlers Certificate
• A current Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Evidence of Tuberculosis screening
• Must be able to perform all essential duties of the position with or without accommodation, which may include bending, pushing, pulling, lifting and repetitive movements

Responsibilities

• Assists with food service to residents
• Serves meals according to therapeutic diets and portion guidelines
• Maintains sanitation standards in accordance with public health regulations
• Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment, dishes, and work areas
