A Registered Practical Nurse is accountable to the Administrator and Director of Resident Care in accordance with the Ontario College of Nursing Standards, Regulated Health Professions Act, and the Fixing Long-Term Care Act 2021. The Registered Staff work collaboratively with Home area managers, Resident Care Facilitators and nursing staff.

Qualifications

 

• Meets the staffing qualifications according to the Regulations and Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Practical Nurse
• A current Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector
• Evidence of Tuberculosis screening
• Proof of CPR certification
